Natcha Kucita, MEP BIM Engineer and Founder of Vessel of Light
Natcha is a Thai-born, London-based BIM Engineer and Ceramicist. Prior to the pandemic, she took her first pottery classes and fell in love with clay. Shortly after, Vessel of Light (VOL) was founded to create one of a kind ceramics tableware rooted in everyday practice and ritual such as tea bowls, cups, incense catchers. With precision, utilitarian shapes, and poetry in mind, each piece is designed and made slowly to last.
VOL has participated in various pop-ups in London and Thailand. Currently, Natcha makes small batch ceramics and offers intimate workshops in her own studio space in Dalston.
Natcha enjoys experimenting on glazes as well as various traditional firing techniques such as raku, saggar and reduction firing using gas and wood-fired kiln to achieve one of a kind effects. / @thevesseloflight
