Gubns Living Room No.3: Call for Submissions

  • Bloomsbury, London United Kingdom (map)

Celebrating Work-in-Progress: Call for projects, objects, and prototypes that showcase and investigate the process of making.

Gubns teams up with Minor Detail and Matter at Hand to host our next Living Room series—a casual exhibition showcasing architect-makers’ creative projects in an intimate setting.

This time, the theme is centred around the often-asked and not-so-often-explained aspect of creative work—what is the process of making? We want to bring together objects and fragments that are work-in-progress, tools and prototypes that reveal the logic of making, images and videos that document the processes, and drawings and sketches that explore new approaches.

We encourage submissions that reflect on your ongoing exploration and experimentation of your chosen materials and topics. The work can be finished or unfinished, as long as it has a thoughtful and interesting story to tell. We welcome submissions in all mediums—2D, 3D, and digital formats will be considered.
