Following Gubns’ official launch during the London Festival of Architecture, Gubns founder Jesslyn Guntur spoke with Nate Berg, Fast Company’s journalist covering architecture and urban design, on the journey behind starting Gubns. From noticing a sub-trend during the pandemic to growing a highly curated network and collection, the interview takes a look at Gubns’ early days.

The New Curated Platform for Architecture Treasures
Gubns has welcomed 30+ built environment professionals to join its community of makers since soft launching in December 2021.
Following the trial period, Gubns made its debut with an in-person Architect-Maker Pop-up during the London Festival of Architecture. The temporary pop-up was situated in Cuemars, a lifestyle shop located in the heart of Shoreditch.
