Atelier Hen

Atelier Hen explores the hand-tufting technique of needle punching to create topographic landscapes on miniature rugs, wall tapestries as well as small pouches. By restricting the colour palette to minimal, nude and earthy tones, the materiality, structure and detail of the 100% wool yarn become the focal points of each creation. In a conscious move away from control and rigidity, Atelier Hen merges tactility and the art of rug-making with natural landscapes and organic shapes.
