Bijou Creates

Bijou is a designer and architect in training. Her passion is in making, designing and creating, from clothing and building models to material testing and everything in between. 

Bijou’s family are proud West Africans from Sierra Leone. She loves finding new ways of bringing her heritage into her western life by creating vibrant, hybrid forms. She is passionate about designing, crafting and particularly working with fabric at various scales, from design fashion pieces to large spatial components.
