Gubns x Vessel of Light: Make a Vessel with Architect-Makers (Dec 7th)
Make a Vessel with Architect-Makers
Welcome to the first workshop in our series dedicated to architect-makers, hosted in collaboration with Gubns. An invitation for you to co-create and exercise creative explorations with built environment designers. Whether you're new to clay or an experienced architect, this event is about discovering the possibilities that come from merging visions.
The day
This is a 3.5-hour practice, a unique and curated experience to explore creative clay collaborations together in Vessel of Light’s intimate studio space in Dalston, London.
Jesslyn from Gubns, a global collective of architect-makers, invites the community of makers to meet and create with other like-minded designers. We will begin with introductions, a tea ritual and a match-making session for creatives to work in groups of two.
Natcha from Vessel of Light will lead the workshop where you will work with your partner to conceptualise and design a set of vessels. This workshop is designed for you to merge visions and explore all creative possibilities for a vessel, which will be glazed and fired for you to collect on another day.
The themes for this collaboration: play, connections, shared visions, community, merging expressions, contemplation.
Natcha and Jesslyn connected years ago through a social event for architects. We are thrilled to invite you to this sanctuary and share our practice with you. Limited to 8 students, we recommend reserving your spot soon.
The details
Time/date: Saturday, December 7th from 2-5.30pm GMT
